No person shall conduct a home, garage or rummage sale on his or her premises without first obtaining a license from the city clerk to do so, and no more than two (2) sales shall be permitted by the same person or on the same premises during a twelve (12) month period. Each such license shall be good for a maximum of three (3) consecutive days.

The city clerk shall issue the license to the applicant and the fee shall be three dollars ($3.00).

Churches, service clubs, charitable organizations and secondhand stores or related retail establishments are exempt from this section.
