A CHARTER ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 OF CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 18a OF THE CITY OF CANEY, KANSAS, RELATING TO THE TERM OF EMPLOYMENT OF FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF CANEY, KANSAS:

SECTION 1: Section 8 of Charter Ordinance No. 18a of the City of Caney, Kansas relating to the term of employment of full-time city employees is hereby amended as hereafter set forth:

SECTION 8: Term of Employment *Regular, Full-Time Employees.

*All employees of the City of Caney serve at the pleasure of the City as employees-at­ will. Nothing contained in this Charter Ordinance or City Employee Handbook shall be construed to guarantee continued employment. The City reserves the right to dismiss any employee(s) at any time, subject, however, to the provisions of this -Charter Ordinance and the City Employee Handbook.*
